Do not wait to file your lemon law claim – under West Virginia law, you only have one year from the date the warranty expires to file a lawsuit. State laws say you may be able to collect the following forms of compensation:
- Total refund of the price paid, plus taxes, licensing, registration, and any other related fees.
- Damages to compensate you for the diminution in value of the vehicle (if there is no revocation of acceptance) )
- Damages to cover the cost of vehicle repairs
